This is what showing up looks like.
Not the highlight reel, the real one. A walk squeezed in before a storm rolls through. A recovery day. The workout that almost didn't happen, but did. Every post here is proof that discipline isn't loud. It's a woman doing the work, in whatever shape progress takes for her today.

I created DFIT for women of all ages, because I know that regular movement is not just about your body, it’s about your mind. It’s about busting through all the lies we tell ourselves about what you can or can’t accomplish. Imagine if you never quit on yourself again. What would that look like? This is where I want to take you.

Always getting those steps in but this weekend was a killer: 38,000 steps and 15.7 miles. ☀️ 💪🏽

Our mini vaca is being interrupted by a huge storm today and we have to leave early, but we had serenity, laughs, happy fam cries with good music and lots of steps. 💕

This memory popped up and made me think about how our kids are always watching us and will eventually follow the example that we’ve set. When I first started training, I would have clients come to my house in the wee hours of the morning while these 3 were sleeping. 😴 crazy! Sometimes we would hang out in the studio to get our workouts in. lol I love this so much. What amazes me even more is how they’ve all come to love fitness and caring for themselves in this way. It’s pretty well ingrained in who they are! Taking care of our bodies is not just about us. It’s showing those around us that we love ourselves enough to do the hard work. They naturally believe then that they also need to do the same. 💙💙💙 #dfitgeneration #investinyourself✨ #investsinthem #nextgens #teachthemyoung

Balance is something i have always struggled with especially being in my 20s and social media being a consuming thing. i have always compared myself to others on how i think i should look or what the scale should say. today i walked 3 miles this morning my rest day and then sat in the sun and had this soft serve marg with a pitcher on ice to follow that brock and i split. rest days should be normalized along with balance 🫶🏼🫶🏼

I was skeptical about it at first, just unsure of what it would actually do for me since I've done it all before. I was in a rut with working out, and wasn’t as motivated as I have been in the past. So I ended up hopping into one of DFIT's 8-week challenges, and I have absolutely loved the balance of strength and Turbo. I would recommend this to anyone starting their fitness journey, trying to get back in it, or looking for something new

How did my workout journey start? I was feeling miserable after my first son was born. I was 65 pounds overweight and really didn’t like the way I was showing up on the inside or outside. I wanted to get back to me. There was a faithful voice that spoke to my heart many that told me to just begin. I actually started running at that time. Every day this voice told me to keep going, to push a little further than the last time. This voice turned into a mental strength I didn't even realize I had. And carried me through some of the hardest times of my life. And it's still carrying me. I want you to keep listening to that same voice inside yourself. The one that is always there, waiting. *This picture is me curating my 533rd or something workout 😱. I design each of my workouts so that you will be able to "tune into" that voice inside of you stronger and louder each day until it becomes a non-negotiable. Because guess what? You're worth it. Feeling good every day is so worth it. And so is everyone who will get to bask in your light! www.dfithealthandwellness.com.

While taking this walk this week, I was reminded of how this (our health and wellness journey) is a marathon, not a sprint. Which means: there will be challenges along the way there will be seasons where it’s harder to keep going And other times where it feels like you could conquer the world (savor these). Don’t resist where you are. Just step into it and remember that when you commit to this, you are always moving towards your best self (as long as you are moving)! And yes, we are never finished. What’s one thing you’re doing consistently now that you weren’t before? ⬇️ This is how habits become ingrained. Trust me. Trust the process.

Today I’m reppin’ at the Beachwood playground ya’ll with my son and his friends in tow. I’ve always cared about my health and my body, but my biggest challenge has been discipline. What I’ve realized as I’ve gotten older is that the need for community, check-ins and accountability is real and so important.

✍️♥️ As part of our summer serenity challenges I had the DFIT crew make a joy list. 20 things that make them happy and then a promise to do at least one of them a day. What are the things that truly bring you joy and how can you intentionally go after them? You were created to receive!

I am loving this morning routine! ☀️ I’m used to the 5 am wake up but normally I jump right on the phone and start responding to messages. This a game changer! How is starting the day in silence impacting the rest of your day? What does serenity look like for you today?
